Gus Laredo is the Managing Partner and Chairman of Condor Equity Partners, a private investment firm focused across technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), information and communications technology (ICT), digital transformation, professional sports franchises, and sports-anchored real estate development. Over the past three decades, he has built a career as an operator, investor, entrepreneur, and senior executive, leading businesses and strategic initiatives across North America, Europe, and Latin America.
Born in La Paz, Bolivia and based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Mr. Laredo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics from University of San Francisco.
Mr. Laredo has co-founded and led several companies through successful strategic outcomes, including:
- Five9 — founding Chief Operating Officer and International Vice President, helping build one of the early pioneers in cloud-based contact center technology. NASDAQ public listing FIVN.
- Sierra360 — Chief Executive Officer and Board Member prior to its acquisition by NICE Systems. NASDAQ: NICE
- Whendu — Chief Operating Officer and Board Member before the company's acquisition by Five9. NASDAQ: FIVN
